Product Description An assortment of cotterless steel hitch pins and linchpins from Hillman. Hitch pins feature a spring-loaded bearing mechanism and easy-grip pull ring for quick, simple disconnections. Linchpins are inserted into the end of a shaft, as in an axle, to prevent a wheel or rotating mechanism from slipping out of place. Linchpins are also self-locking with a pull ring. The full assortment features variants ranging 3/16" thru 7/16" in loop diameter and 1-1/8" thru 3" in length. Full assortment contains ten (10) refills comprised of Hillman item numbers #4252 - #4261. From the Manufacturer Cotterless hitch pins are designed to use in temporary quick disconnect operations. These popular pins feature a ball locking mechanism in place of a cotter pin or other fastener. They are held in place by a spring-loaded bearing and don't require a separate cotter pin.
